DS PRIVATE associates prestige with high levels of profitability

With the start of the new year, a new cycle begins. It’s time for brands to show their purpose. We spoke with the National and International Coordinating Director of DS PRIVATE , Adriano Nogueira Pinto , in order to learn more about the brand and its expansion plans for the future. Read the full interview.

What motivated the birth of the DS PRIVATE brand?

DS PRIVATE is, in fact, an integral part of the experienced DECIÕES E SOLUÇÕES group , which has been operating in Portugal for 17 years. With more than 260 stores nationwide, the group is today the market leader in the credit intermediation and real estate consultancy sectors . We therefore benefit from a structure that gives us stability and allows us to respond to the needs of the most demanding customers .

Within it, we understand that there has been a progressive process of redefining the concept of luxury . Once directly and exclusively associated with significant monetary values, luxury is now celebrated as a way of life.

The premium segment  also provides added security to potential investors , as it does not present the same level of exposure to adverse economic conditions.

How does DS PRIVATE intend to impact the luxury real estate sector?

We provide a unique and integrated service, fully adjusted to our clients’ needs. In addition to real estate consultancy , DS PRIVATE’s operations include property construction  and credit intermediation .

We establish partnerships with  renowned architectural offices  and national construction companies . At the same time, we maintain privileged relationships with banking and financial institutions , with the aim of offering  truly advantageous credit solutions .

How does the brand relate to the store network and how do you intend to expand?

The DS PRIVATE store network is closely linked through a solid support structure . In organizational terms, it includes coordination at national and regional levels, trainers and a team specialized in different areas.

In the short term, and seeking to counter the obstacles posed by the pandemic context, the expansion plan foresees the opening of 30 stores in Portugal. This expansion of the network will have a greater impact on strategic locations, capable of ensuring an advantageous business volume  .

Once this stage of growth is complete, we will focus on the international market, using brand representation activities.

What type of professional profile do you want for your team?

In essence, the professional will have to have an entrepreneurial spirit , vision, dynamism and credibility. He may operate in banking, construction or even in the real estate sector itself.

Still, background  in one of these three areas is not decisive. Above all, we want elements with a holistic view of the segment in which we operate and that maintain their focus on results .

In an internal context, a sale of a luxury property has an average value of 1.7 million euros. For those who intervene in the business, it can generate a commission of around 80 thousand euros. This process involves some complexity, so we never neglect to provide a personalized and excellent service .

How can a DS PRIVATE store be opened nationally?

The conditions we offer to open a DS PRIVATE store  in Portugal are particularly interesting. There is a right of entry worth 15 thousand euros, plus VAT, with a total investment of close to 40 thousand euros, plus VAT, being expected.

In order for new members to have a successful performance  , this investment includes a support structure in several areas of specialization, technological tools, the architectural project and the DS PRIVATE identity. It is, therefore, a reduced investment in a highly profitable sector . This is the time to join a winning group!
